According to Jon Morosi of Fox Sports, the Diamondbacks have acquired pitcher Armando Galarraga from the Tigers for pitchers Kevin Eichhorn and Ryan Robowski. The D'Backs seem to be taking responsibility for all of Galarraga's $2.3 million salary.
Galarraga posted a 4.49 ERA with a 1.34 WHIP over 144 1/3 innings last season with the Tigers. Eichhorn had a 5.00 ERA with a 1.31 WHIP over 86 1/3 innings over stops in Rookie league, Class-A and Class-A Advanced in the D'Backs system last year. Robowski posted a 5.17 ERA with a 1.57 WHIP over 54 innings with the D'Backs Class-A Advanced team last season.
