Mariners sign Gerut, Robertson

The Mariners have announced that they have signed outfielder Jody Gerut and left-handed pitcher Nate Robertson to minor-league deals and invited them to Spring Training. Gerut hit .197 with a .230 OBP last season and has career numbers of .262 batting average and .325 OBP. Robertson made 21 appearances over stops with the Marlins and Phillies and posted a 5.95 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP over 101 1/3 innings.
