Buster Olney of ESPN has reported that the Rays have signed RHP Kyle Farnsworth to a one year deal work $3.25 million with an option for the second year which wold make it worth $6 million over 2 years.
The right hander has spent time with the Cubs, Tigers, Braves, Yankees, and Royals, most recently coming off his second stint with the Braves. He has a career 4.39 ERA with a 1.39 WHIP over 837 innings.
