Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com has reported that the Red Sox have signed left-hander Hideki Okajima to a one year, $1.75 million deal including $550,000 in incentives. Okajima is 35 years old and has come off of his worst year in the league after posting a 4.50 ERA in 2010 and 3.9 walks per 9 innings. The Red Sox chose to stick with Okajima even though they had shown interest in lefty Brian Fuentes.
