Rays sign Upton
The Rays and B.J. Upton agreed to a one year deal worth $4.825 million, avoiding arbitration, according to Marc Topkin of the St. Petersburg Times. Upton hit .237 with a .322 OBP last season over 536 at bats last season with the Rays. He also included 42 stolen bases while being caught only 9 times.
