The Mets have signed utility player Willie Harris according to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York. Harris will also receive an invite to Spring Training. Harris hit .183 with a .291 OBP last season with the Nationals. The team announced the signing January 17th.
The Royals have agreed to a one year deal with Alex Gordon, avoiding arbitration. Gordon hit .215 with a .315 OBP last season with the Royals.
