Garza to Cubs

Bruce Levine of ESPN Chicago has reported that the Chicago Cubs and Tampa Bay Rays have agreed on a trade to send Matt Garza, Fernando Perez, and a prospect to Chicago for Cubs prospects outfielder Brandon Guyer, right-handed starter Chris Archer, catcher Robinson Chirinos, infielder Hak-Ju Lee, and reserve outfielder Sam Fuld. The deal is said to be done pending physicals for all the players involved. Garza is headed to arbitration this month and will be getting a raise from his 2010 salary of $3.35 million after posting a 3.91 ERA over 204 2/3 innings during the 2010 season.
