White Sox sign Ramirez to Extension.

The White Sox have agreed to a contract extension with shortstop Alexei Ramirez. The deal will pay Ramirez $32.5 million over four years, and there is also a $10 million team option for a fifth year. This extension covers Ramirez's last two arbitration years and at least his first two years of free agency. Ramirez hit .282 with a .313 OBP  with 18 homers last season in 626 plate appearances. Ramirez earned his first Silver Slugger Award in 2010. Ramirez has spent his entire 3 year career with the White Sox and plans on being their shortstop for many years.
