Mariners sign Wright, Mets sign Pagan

The Mariners have announced that they have re-signed right-hander Jamey Wright to a minor league contract with an invite to Spring Training. Wright posted a 4.17 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP over 58 1/3 innings last season with the Indians and Mariners.

The Mets have announced that they have signed Angel Pagan to a one year extension worth $3.5 million avoiding arbitration. Pagan hit .290 with a .340 OBP with 37 steals in 46 attempts last season.  The Mets have also avoided arbitration with R.A. Dickey signing him to a 2 year, $7.5 million deal with a club option for a third year. Dickey posted a 2.84 and a 1.19 WHIP over 174 1/3 innings last season.
